Runner-up Colin Coleman, 75/64 on a count-back from John Nankervis and Geoff Vesey, scored a nearest the pin on 1 st /10 th hole which netted him the nearest the pin jackpot! Don O’Meara had the closest shot on 9 th /18 th hole. In B Grade Alan Rowarth’s winning score was 90/67 and runner-up Graeme McKenzie had 94/68. Guy Permazel was nearest the pin on 1 st /10 th hole.

Men’s Stableford competition was won by George Harrison with 40 points. Runner-up, Ray Matthews scored 39 points. Women’s stableford competition was won by Dawn Thomas with 35 points and runner-up Vicki , had 29 points, as did the next best, Maureen Vesey. The women’s Otway pennant lost the match at Torquay, and the flag for the season was won by Lorne.
Men’s 4-weeker #2 round 2 competition was won by Bob Bedson 77/66 in A Grade. In B Grade Guy Permazel scored 86/65.
Women’s 9 holes stroke competition 0-35 was won by Cheryle Polgeest with 49-17-32 and the runner-up Janice McKenzie had 49-13-36. In 36-45 division Jeanette Dodds won with 50-19-31 with Marlene Verey, playing her first game for some time was runner-up with 56-18½-37½. Putting overall was Vicki Hannah with 15 putts.
