Men’s Stableford one grade only was won by Peter Forbes with 34 points and runner-up with 33 points was Bill Buckley. Nearest the pin 1 st /10 th hole was Alan Gale visiting from Blue Lake.
Women’s 9 holes stroke competition. The winner was Caroline Wren 54-19-35 and Runner-up Sandra Toone had 50-13 ½ 36 1/2 . The putting was won by Jean Hansen with 12 putts.
Men’s Par competition. Winner in A grade was Bill Buckley with -3 on a Count-back from Runner-up Richard Stone and Craig McKenzie -3.
Nearest the Pin was Craig McKenzie for A grade on 1 st /10 th hole. In B grade Peter Forbes had the winning score of -2 with Lance Thomas runner-up with -4. Lance was also nearest the pin 1 st /10 th for B Grade.
Cold weather didn’t stop 8 women vying for the monthly medal in an 18 hole stroke round. The medal was won by Adele Rowarth with 103-27-76 nett. Adele also had the best gross score. Runner-up was Caroline Wren with 118-38-80 and the putting was won by Debbie Biggs with 33 putts.

Women’s 9 holes stableford competition. Eight players ventured out in the rain with winner Dawn Thomas scoring 19 points. Runner-up with 16 points was Adele Rowarth.

Threatening weather conditions and the absence of many players due to members playing at Howlong for the week resulted in cancellation of the day’s competition.
Men’s 2-person Ambrose competition was contested by 6 pairs with the winners being Bernie Coller and John Nankervis- 69-60 ½ and runners-up David Ivens and Jason Newcombe scoring 70-61 1/2 . Nearest the pin 1 st /10 th A grade was Jason Newcombe and for B Grade Greg Dodds took the honour.
Women’s 9 holes Pinehurst competition. The winning team of Debbie Biggs and Jeanette Dodds had 50-12-38 and Runners-up Sandra Toone and Sally Stone scored 50-11 3/8 – 38 5/8 . The Putting was won by Adele Rowarth and Dawn Thomas with 15 putts.
