Women’s 18 holes stroke was won by Sandra Toone with 99-29-70, Runner-up Janice McKenzie with nett 79 on a count-back from Faith Morrissy and Robyn Lamson. The Putting was won by Sandra Toone with 30 putts on a count-back from Cheryle Polgeest.
Week 4 winner of the 4- week Par competition one grade only was Graham McKenzie with +2, and Rick Johnston was the runner-up with +1. Nearest the Pins: A Grade 1 st /10 th Colin Coleman B Grade 1 st /10 th Guy Permazel. A Grade 9 th /18 th: David Ivens who was the only contender on this hole. The final round of the men’s stableford championship was Denis Morrissy with 40 points. Runner-up was Don Wagstaff with 34 points. Nearest the pins were 1 st /10 th A Grade Don Wagstaff and in B Grade, Lance Thomas. On 9 th /18 th hole, Bruce Munro was the closest. The 2019 Stableford Champion was Denis Morrissy with 114 points. Runner-up Don Wagstaff scored 100 points. Next in line, 3 rd – Richard Stone 93, 4 th Guy Permazel, 92 and 5 th Lance Thomas 74.
Women’s 18 holes stableford was won by Janice McKenzie, who with 32 points, also won the Grandmother’s trophy. Runner-up Sandra Toone scored 29 points. The winner of B Grade was Cheryle Polgeest with 27 points and the runner-up, Joy Russ scored 23 points. Stacey Thomas was the only contender for nearest the pin on 1 st /10 th hole.
Week 3 winner of the 4-week Par competition in A Grade was Richard Stone with +3, and Bob Bedson was the runner-up on a count-back from Bernie Coller with -3. The winner in B Grade was Rick Johnston, who scored +2 with the runner-up Bruce Thomas, square. Nearest the Pins: A Grade 1 st /10 th David Hand B Grade 1 st /10 th Jason Newcombe. Round 2 of the men’s stableford championship was won by Denis Morrissy with 42 points. Runner-up, Don Wagstaff, who had a nearest the pin on 1 st /10 th hole for A grade, scored 39 points. In B Grade, Brian McKenzie achieved nearest the pin on 1st/10 th holes and the 9 th /18 th holes.
Women’s 18 holes stroke was held on a drizzly with a cool wind. The winner was Caroline Wren with 105-35-70. Runner-up Dawn Thomas scored 104-28-76 on a count-back from Cheryle Polgeest. Caroline Wren won the putting with 31 putts and Dawn Thomas won the best gross score 104, on a count-back from Janice McKenzie. Caroline Wren was the monthly medal winner.
