Women’s 9 hole stableford competition was cancelled.
Men’s Stableford Championships round 1, one grade: Don Wagstaff was the winner with 36 points and the runner-up, on a count-back from Bernie Coller, was Darren Gill with 31 points. Bernie Coller had the drive closest to the pin on 1 st /10 th hole.
Women’s 18 hole stroke competition was won by Sandra Toone 101-28-73 and with 103-24-79 on a count-back from Margaret Smith,
Janice McKenzie was runner-up. The best gross score was won by Margaret Smith 98. Sandra Toone also won the silver spoon, monthly medal, and putting competition with 31 putts. Sandra puts a lot of effort into being available to take charge of events when either the captain or president are unable to be present, as well as capably handling the job of women’s treasurer, so it was a popular win.
Men’s 4 week stroke competition, was cancelled.

Women’s 18 hole stroke competition was won by Janice McKenzie 97-25-72. Runner-up was Sandra Toone with 102-27-75 and Sandra also had nearest the pin. Adele Rowarth collected the putting trophy with 31 putts.
Men’s 4 week stroke competition, round 1, one grade only, was won by Lance Thomas with nett 62. Runner-up on a count-back from Bernie Coller and John Nankervis was Bill Buckley with nett 66.l. Nearest the pin 1 st /10 th hole was John Nankervis A Grade and Lance Thomas in B Grade.
Women’s 9 holes Stableford competition was cancelled due to gale force winds.
Men’s 18 hole stroke competition:
The A grade winner was John Nankervis with 82-18-64, followed by runner-up Ian Richardson who scored 83-17-66. B Grade winner Peter Forbes scored 86-23-63 and B grade runner-up, Alan Rowarth had 90-22-68. Nearest the pins in A Grade were Craig McKenzie on 1 st /10 th and Richard Stone on 9 th /18 th . In B Grade Peter Forbes was the most accurate on 1 st /10 th hole.
