Men’s Stableford 18 holes was won by Colin Coleman in A Grade with 41 points. Runner-up Chris Hansen scored 36 points. In B Grade 38 points was a winning score for Lance Thomas, and 37 points for Bill Buckley gained him the position of runner-up. Nearest the pin 1/10: A grade Bob Bedson and B Grade Manuel Quintana. On 9/18 hole Bob Bedson was closest and in B Grade Ian Robinson was the nearest.
Men’s pennant results: Division 5 (scratch) Apollo Bay defeated Winchelsea at Queenscliff 7-0: Phil Kennedy 9/7, Darren Gill 4/3,Guy Holman 4/3, Alistair McKenzie 5/3, Scott Fowler, 4/2, Don Wagstaff 4/2 Willy Kifoto 3/1. Handicap division Apollo Bay defeated Winchelsea at Inverleigh 3/2. Winners were; David Wagstaff 4/3, David Hand w/o, David Ivens 4/3.

Men’s 4BBB Stableford competition, was won by Bill Buckley and Guy Permazel 44 points, while the runners-up on a count-back from Don O’Meara and Alan Rowarth, were Geoff Vesey and Peter Forbes with 43 points. Geoff Vesey had nearest the pin on 1/10 as did Guy Permazel in B Grade and Bob Bedson claimed NTP on 9/18 hole.
Men’s Stroke and Monthly Medal one grade, was won by Tony Campbell, who also won the monthly medal with 89/63 and with 81/64, Don O’Meara was runner-up on a count-back from Manuel Quintana. Richard Stone was nearest the pin on 1/10 hole.
2-man Ambrose stroke competition was won by Chris Hansen and Bob Bedson 68/60¾ on a count-back from Manuel Quintana and Richard Stone, who were the runners-up on another count-back from Geoff Vesey and Peter Forbes. Nearest the Pin 1/10 in A Grade was Craig McKenzie and in B Grade, Doug Honey. On 9/18 Don O’Meara was nearest and in B Grade Peter Forbes took the honour.
Men’s Summer Cup round 4 was won in A Grade by Don O’Meara 65 nett and runner-up David Hand scored 66 on a count-back from Darren Gill 66. Darren also had an Eagle on the 11 th Hole. In B Grade, Manuel Quintana scored 63 nett and runner-up Alan Rowarth had 70 nett. Nearest the pin 1/10 was Don Wagstaff and on 9/18 it was Bob Bedson. The winner of the Summer Cup was Alan Rowarth with 182 points and Ray Matthews, who was the runner-up scored 198 points.
The final week of the men’s 4 week stableford competition resulted in a win in A Grade for John Nankervis 38 points, with runner-up on a count- back Bernie Coller also 38. Nearest the pin 1/10, Craig McKenzie, and 9/18 – Geoff Vesey. In B Grade, Manuel Quintana scored 39 points and Alan Rowarth, runner-up had 36 points. NTP 1/10 was Bill Buckley. The 4 week winner was Manuel Quintana.
